Curly-Leaf Pondweed Treated on May 17th

Eagle Lake received a treatment on May 17th for both Curly-Leaf Pondweed (CLP) and Milfoil. Both are aquatic invasives that are commonly found in Eagle Lake. With milder winter temperatures and lack of any long-term ice cover, both these invasives were allowed to thrive over the last 7 months. The last two weeks the CLP has become emergent along with being very abundant and dense. Conditions should improve in the treated areas in 1-2 weeks.
